It isn't any exaggeration to say that Kristen & Eric's wedding day was perfection! After a relaxed morning getting hair and makeup done in the lovely Presidential Suite at Park Place Hotel in downtown Traverse City, the girls headed over to Hagerty Center to finish last minute details and get Kristen into her perfectly tailored gown. It was an ideal day on the Grand Traverse Bay waterfront and Hagerty Center was a stunning setting for all the happiness and celebration to come!

Kristen & Eric are such a great couple and really compliment one another! I love to see a relationship where partners can bring out the crazy and calm in one another...if you know these two, you which is which;) Life can be too dull if you just march along in your own way without experiencing other things life has to offer. Maybe because my husband and I balance one another, I am especially appreciative of this quality in other couples!

After a very sweet and personal ceremony and a few family portraits, the wedding party headed out on a 1930's firetruck...for real you guys! It was so much fun all piled up in there cruising through downtown Traverse City! Everyone was waving and pointing and shouting congratulations...my cheeks hurt from smiling! Back at Hagerty, we took a few minutes for some group pics with all of the members of the Traverse City Fire Dept in attendance. Seriously, this is the most fun crowd. People who work hard can play hard and this group proves the statement! I had a blast!

The toasts were heartfelt, funny, tear jerkers (just the way I love them), the dinner was phenomenal (I totally have a food-crush on Hagerty chefs and staff), the cheesecake delicious...and...MOOMERS! I mean come on, Moomer's ice cream at a wedding is only the most brilliant thing ever invented! One of my favorite things to do in the evening is to steal the newlyweds away for a few last pictures at sunset. It gives me the opportunity to take some pictures during the most beautiful light of the day but more importantly it allows them to just be together for a quiet moment. In the entire gigantic-ness of the day, these moments of together are some of my couples favorites and I am happy to be a part:)

Congratulations Kristen & Eric! May your marriage be even more beautiful than the wedding day!
